The QAZTECH Alliance of Technology Companies participated in a panel session at the XII Forum of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan, held on April 24 in Astana. Akylbek Iliuf, Head of the Steering Committee for Robotics of QAZTECH, spoke at the session titled "Robotics and Digitalization in Industry," where he shared the Alliance's vision for accelerating the adoption of robotic solutions across domestic enterprises.

In his speech, Iliuf highlighted that robotics plays a crucial role in boosting labor productivity and improving product quality. However, he noted that Kazakhstan remains significantly behind global benchmarks in terms of industrial robot density.

"Today, Kazakhstan lags behind the global average in robotics density by several times. On one hand, this presents a serious challenge, but on the other, it offers significant growth potential. To reduce costs, it is important to develop domestic engineering companies, while businesses should place trust in them and provide upfront support. Effective government measures are needed, including a simplified mechanism for reimbursing costs associated with implementing robotic systems, preferential leasing, tax incentives, and active promotion. At QAZTECH, we are working systematically to address these issues," stated Akylbek Iliuf.

The QAZTECH Alliance is implementing a range of initiatives to advance industrial automation, including the development of a Competence Center for Robotics and AI, the launch of the Go4Robotics.kz platform, the creation of a showroom for solution testing, and active participation in shaping government support measures in collaboration with authorities under the Tech2Gov program.

The XII Forum of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan became the largest platform for discussing key industry trends. QAZTECH's active participation highlighted the Alliance's commitment to fostering local technological innovations and building a sustainable industrial ecosystem.
